The **Nahlin Plateau** is a [plateau](/source/Plateau) in northwestern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada), located between the [Sheslay River](/source/Sheslay_River) and [Tuya River](/source/Tuya_River) on the west and east and the [Nahlin River](/source/Nahlin_River) and the [Stikine River](/source/Stikine_River) to the north and south.[1] It is a subplateau of the [Stikine Plateau](/source/Stikine_Plateau); adjoining parts of the same larger plateau are the [Taku Plateau](/source/Taku_Plateau) to the northwest, the [Tahltan Highland](/source/Tahltan_Highland) to the southwest and south, the [Kawdy Plateau](/source/Kawdy_Plateau) to the north, and the [Spatsizi Plateau](/source/Spatsizi_Plateau) to the southeast. The Nahlin Plateau is the location of the [Level Mountain Range](/source/Level_Mountain_Range) and [Heart Peaks](/source/Heart_Peaks), two small [mountain ranges](/source/Mountain_range) forming parts of large [shield volcanoes](/source/Shield_volcano).
