**Naeim Sadavi Saad** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): نعیم سعداوی; born 16 June 1969) is an Iranian former professional [football](/source/Association_football) coach and former player. A [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)), he was banned from playing for a year for [doping](/source/Doping_in_sport).[1]

## Club career

Sadavi was born in [Ahvaz](/source/Ahvaz). He played for a few clubs in Iran, namely [Bahman](/source/Bahman_(football)), [Persepolis FC](/source/Persepolis_FC) and [Foolad FC](/source/Foolad_FC).

### Doping ban

He tested positive for banned substances and was banned for playing for a year for [doping](/source/Doping_in_sport),[1][2]

## International career

Sadavi participated at [1998 FIFA World Cup](/source/1998_FIFA_World_Cup) with the [Iran national team](/source/Iran_national_football_team).

## Managerial career

Sadavi coached [Sanat Naft FC](/source/Sanat_Naft_FC) and has coached [Shahin Bushehr](/source/Shahin_Bushehr) in Iran's [Azadegan League](/source/Azadegan_League) from 2005 after [Human Afazeli](/source/Human_Afazeli)'s departure from the club. On 25 May 2016, he was appointed as head coach of [Foolad](/source/Foolad_F.C.) with signing a three-year contract with the club.
