***MythBusters Jr.*** is a science entertainment television program created for the [Science Channel](/source/Science_Channel) and produced by Australia's [Beyond Television Productions](/source/Beyond_International). The series is a [spin-off](/source/Spin-off_(media)) of the TV show *[MythBusters](/source/MythBusters)* and follows its premise of testing the validity of myths using the [scientific method](/source/Scientific_method). It premiered on the Science network on January 2, 2019, and consisted of 10 episodes.

The show is hosted by veteran MythBuster [Adam Savage](/source/Adam_Savage) and has a cast of six children skilled in [STEM](/source/Science%2C_technology%2C_engineering%2C_and_mathematics) topics.[1]
