**Myrna May Combellack** is a Cornish[1][2] academic researcher and writer of the [Institute of Cornish Studies](/source/Institute_of_Cornish_Studies) (in the [Charles Thomas](/source/Charles_Thomas_(historian)) era), translator of *[Beunans Meriasek](/source/Beunans_Meriasek)*[3] and author of several works of fiction.

## Early life

She graduated in English from the [University of York](/source/University_of_York) in 1971.[4]
