Location Leicestershire Grid reference SK 825 368[1] Interest Biological Area 8.8 hectares[1] Notification 1983[1] Location map Magic Map **Muston Meadows** is an 8.8-hectare (22-acre) biological [Site of Special Scientific Interest](/source/Site_of_Special_Scientific_Interest) south of [Muston](/source/Muston%2C_Leicestershire) in [Leicestershire](/source/Leicestershire).[1][2] It is also a [National Nature Reserve](/source/National_nature_reserve_(United_Kingdom))[3][4] and a [Nature Conservation Review](/source/Nature_Conservation_Review) site.[5] These [ridge and furrow](/source/Ridge_and_furrow) meadows are on soils derived from clay. Herbs include [green-winged orchid](/source/Green-winged_orchid), [lady's bedstraw](/source/Lady's_bedstraw), [yellow rattle](/source/Yellow_rattle), [pepper saxifrage](/source/Pepper_saxifrage) and [cowslip](/source/Primula_veris).[5] The site is in two different areas, both of which are open to the public.
