'''Sheikh Musa Hadeib''' was the head of [Mount Hebron](/source/Mount_Hebron) farmers' party and a founder of the Zionist-supported [Muslim National Associations](/source/Muslim_National_Associations). He was from the village of [Dawaymeh](/source/Dawaymeh) near [Hebron](/source/Hebron).<ref name="shadows">[Cohen, Hillel](/source/Hillel_Cohen) ''[Army of Shadows: Palestinian collaboration with Zionism, 1917–1948](/source/Army_of_Shadows%3A_Palestinian_Collaboration_with_Zionism%2C_1917%E2%80%931948)''. In October 1929, Musa Hadeib was killed near [Herod's Gate](/source/Herod's_Gate) in [Jerusalem](/source/Jerusalem), accused of collaborating with the Zionists.<ref name="shadows59">Cohen, Hillel ''Army of Shadows: Palestinian collaboration with Zionism, 1917–1948''. The JTA reported the incident as having occurred on October 13, 1929 stating "Great excitement prevailed in Jerusalem today over the murder of Musa Isdeb, an Arab from a village near Hebron, who was killed at Herod’s Gate... It is presumed that the Arab is a victim of inner political enmities between Arab factions, the murdered man supposedly being active in propaganda against the Grand Mufti."<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.jta.org/1929/10/16/archive/murder-of-arab-causes-great-excitement|title=Murder of Arab Causes Great Excitement|website=Jewish Telegraphic Agency|date=16 October 1929|access-date=2017-05-10}}</ref>

A follow-up article from October 22, 1929 called the incident a blood feud "between the family of the late Mousa Adeb, founder of the Arab peasant party and opponent of the Grand Mufti, and the clan of Amin El Husseini."<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.jta.org/1929/10/22/archive/feud-threatens-between-family-of-murdered-arab-and-grand-muftis-clan|title=Feud Threatens Between Family of Murdered Arab and Grand Mufti's Clan|website=Jewish Telegraphic Agency|date=22 October 1929|access-date=2017-05-10}}</ref>
