**Mungaoli Assembly constituency** is one of the 230 [Vidhan Sabha](/source/Madhya_Pradesh_Vidhan_Sabha) (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of [Madhya Pradesh](/source/Madhya_Pradesh) state in central [India](/source/India).[1] This constituency came into existence in 1951, as one of the 79 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of the erstwhile [Madhya Bharat](/source/Madhya_Bharat) state.[2]

## Overview

Mungaoli (constituency number 34) is one of the 3 Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in [Ashok Nagar district](/source/Ashok_Nagar_district). This constituency presently covers the entire Mungaoli [tehsil](/source/Tehsil) and part of Chanderi tehsil of the district.[3]

Mungaoli is part of [Guna Lok Sabha constituency](/source/Guna_(Lok_Sabha_constituency)) along with seven other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely, [Chanderi](/source/Chanderi_Assembly_constituency) and [Ashok Nagar](/source/Ashok_Nagar_Assembly_constituency) in this district, [Bamori](/source/Bamori_Assembly_constituency) and in [Guna](/source/Guna_Assembly_constituency) in [Guna district](/source/Guna_district), [Shivpuri](/source/Shivpuri_Assembly_constituency), [Pichhore](/source/Pichhore_Assembly_constituency) and [Kolaras](/source/Kolaras_Assembly_constituency) in [Shivpuri district](/source/Shivpuri_district).[3]
