**Mroz** or **Mróz** is a surname. Cognate to [Maroz](/source/Maroz), [Moroz](/source/Moroz) and [Mraz](/source/Mraz), it means "frost" in [Polish](/source/Polish_language). It is most frequent in southern and eastern Poland.[1]
