The **Movement for Reversal** ([Serbian](/source/Serbian_language): Покрет за преокрет, [romanized](/source/Romanization_of_Serbian): *Pokret za preokret*, abbr. **PZP**) was a minor [centre-left](/source/Centre-left_politics) [political organisation](/source/List_of_political_parties_in_Serbia) in [Serbia](/source/Serbia). Its leader was [Janko Veselinović](/source/Janko_Veselinovi%C4%87_(lawyer)), a professor at the [University of Novi Sad](/source/University_of_Novi_Sad).

## History

Movement for Reversal was founded in 2015, by a Serbian academic [Janko Veselinović](/source/Janko_Veselinovi%C4%87_(lawyer)), who decided to split from the [Social Democratic Party](/source/Social_Democratic_Party_(Serbia)), claiming that its leadership does not have a clear vision of how to counter the [Serbian Progressive Party](/source/Serbian_Progressive_Party) and the [Socialist Party of Serbia](/source/Socialist_Party_of_Serbia).[1][2]

The organisation participated in the [2016 Serbian parliamentary elections](/source/2016_Serbian_parliamentary_election) in a coalition along with the [Serbian Left](/source/Serbian_Left_(2015)) and the [Social Democratic Union](/source/Social_Democratic_Union_(Serbia)).[3] However, the coalition finished ninth with 0.94% of the votes and failed to pass the census.[4]

In 2018, the organisation was one of the founding members of the major opposition coalition called the [Alliance for Serbia](/source/Alliance_for_Serbia).[5][6] The coalition boycotted the [2020 Serbian parliamentary elections](/source/2020_Serbian_parliamentary_election).[7]

In November 2025, it was announced that the PZP would merge into the [Party of Freedom and Justice](/source/Party_of_Freedom_and_Justice).[8]
