'''Mount MacKenzie''' is a volcanic peak, located {{convert|40|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} northeast of [Hagensborg](/source/Hagensborg), [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), Canada. It is one of the volcanic peaks of the [Rainbow Range](/source/Rainbow_Range_(Coast_Mountains)), which is one of the three major [shield volcano](/source/shield_volcano)es that form the [Anahim Volcanic Belt](/source/Anahim_Volcanic_Belt). Mount MacKenzie was formed when the [North American Plate](/source/North_American_Plate) moved over a [hotspot](/source/hotspot_(geology)), similar to the one feeding the [Hawaiian Islands](/source/Hawaiian_Islands), known as the [Anahim hotspot](/source/Anahim_hotspot).
