**Mount Lorette** ([72°32′S 31°9′E](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=72_32_S_31_9_E)) is an ice-free [mountain](/source/Mountain) resembling a cathedral in form, rising to 2,200 metres (7,200 ft) close west of [Mount Loodts](/source/Mount_Loodts) in the [Belgica Mountains](/source/Belgica_Mountains) of Antarctica. It was discovered by the [Belgian Antarctic Expedition, 1957–58](/source/Belgian_Antarctic_Expedition,_1957%E2%80%9358), under [G. de Gerlache](/source/G._de_Gerlache), who named it for [Notre Dame de Lorette](/source/Titles_of_Mary) (Our Lady of Loreto), a [patron saint](/source/Patron_saint) of aviators.[1]
