# Mount Kozyak

**Mount Kozyak** (Bulgarian: връх Козяк, ˈvrɤx ˈkɔzʲɐk) is the ice-covered peak rising to 709 m[1] in [Brugmann Mountains](/source/Brugmann_Mountains) on [Liège Island](/source/Li%C3%A8ge_Island) in the [Palmer Archipelago](/source/Palmer_Archipelago), [Antarctica](/source/Antarctica). It surmounts [Coria Cove](/source/Coria_Cove) to the northeast, [Beripara Cove](/source/Beripara_Cove) to the south and [Sigmen Glacier](/source/Sigmen_Glacier) to the northwest.

The feature is named after the settlement of [Kozyak](/source/Kozyak) in Northeastern Bulgaria.

## Location

Mount Kozyak is located at [64°01′29″S 61°54′50″W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=64_01_29_S_61_54_50_W), which is 1.67 km south of [Vazharov Peak](/source/Vazharov_Peak), 1.72 km northwest of [Leshko Point](/source/Leshko_Point) and 3.5 km northeast of [Pavlov Peak](/source/Pavlov_Peak). British mapping in 1978.
