# Mount Farnham

**Mount Farnham** is [British Columbia's](/source/British_Columbia) 17th highest peak, and 21st most prominent. It was named after [Paulding Farnham](/source/Paulding_Farnham) from [New York](/source/New_York_City).[2] It is the highest peak in the Purcells (a subset of the larger Columbia mountain range).
