# Mount Donbeh

**Mount Donbeh** or **Kuh-e Donbeh** is a mountain which is situated just southwest of the city of [Isfahan](/source/Isfahan) in [Isfahan province](/source/Isfahan_province) in [Iran](/source/Iran).[1] Stretching in a northwest–southeast direction, Mount Donbeh is located south of the [Zayanderud](/source/Zayanderud) River and northwest of [Mount Soffeh](/source/Mount_Soffeh) in the [Sanandaj](/source/Sanandaj)-[Sirjan](/source/Sirjan) geologic and structural zone of Iran. The mountain is mainly formed of [Lower Cretaceous](/source/Lower_Cretaceous) [limestone](/source/Limestone). Only the southeastern part of the mountain is made of [Jurassic](/source/Jurassic) [shale](/source/Shale).[2]
