'''Mount Dixey''' ({{Coord|70|10|S|68|4|W|source:GNIS|display=inline,title}}) is a mountain, {{convert|1,250|m}} high, standing at the south side of [Riley Glacier](/source/Riley_Glacier) and {{convert|3|nmi|km|0}} northeast of [Carse Point](/source/Carse_Point), on the west coast of [Palmer Land](/source/Palmer_Land). It was first photographed from the air on November 23, 1935, by [Lincoln Ellsworth](/source/Lincoln_Ellsworth), and mapped from these photographs by [W.L.G. Joerg](/source/W.L.G._Joerg). It was first surveyed in 1936 by the [British Graham Land Expedition](/source/British_Graham_Land_Expedition) (BGLE) under [John Rymill](/source/John_Rymill), and was named in 1954 by members of the expedition for [Neville Dixey](/source/Neville_Dixey), Chairman of [Lloyd's of London](/source/Lloyd's_of_London) in 1934, who raised a special fund at Lloyd's as a contribution towards the cost of the BGLE, 1934–37.<ref name=gnis/>
