**Mount Cronin** is a [mountain](/source/Mountain) in the [Babine Range](/source/Babine_Range) of the [Skeena Mountains](/source/Skeena_Mountains) in northern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada), located at the head of [Cronin Creek](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cronin_Creek&action=edit&redlink=1) in [Babine Mountains Provincial Park](/source/Babine_Mountains_Provincial_Park) just northeast of [Smithers](/source/Smithers%2C_British_Columbia). It has a prominence of 1,571 m (5,154 ft), created by the [Harold Price-Fulton Pass](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Harold_Price-Fulton_Pass&action=edit&redlink=1), making it one of [Canada's Ultra peaks](/source/List_of_Ultras_in_Canada). The mountain was named after James Cronin, who operated a mine on this mountain in the 19th century.[5]
