Mount Bonney is surrounded by ice including the Bonney Glacier, Clarke Glacier, Swanzy Glacier, and Bonney Névé. The [first ascent](/source/first_ascent) of the mountain was made in 1888 by [Reverend](/source/Reverend) [William S. Green](/source/William_S._Green) and Rev.
