'''Mount Barden''' ({{coord|77|51|S|86|13|W|display=inline,title}}) is a [mountain](/source/mountain), 2,910 m, standing 2.5 nautical miles (4.6&nbsp;km) northwest of [Mount Sharp](/source/Mount_Sharp_(Antarctica)) in the north portion of the [Sentinel Range](/source/Sentinel_Range). It surmounts [Zhenda Glacier](/source/Zhenda_Glacier) to the east. The mountain was named by the [Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names](/source/Advisory_Committee_on_Antarctic_Names) (US-ACAN) for [Virgil W. Barden](/source/Virgil_W._Barden), an ionospheric physicist and member of the 1957 wintering party at [Byrd Station](/source/Byrd_Station).
