***Most Shocking*** is an American [reality](/source/Reality_television) [clip](/source/Clip_show) television series that aired from October 4, 2006, to November 10, 2010 on [Court TV](/source/Court_TV) (now [TruTV](/source/TruTV)). Two [spin-offs](/source/Spin-off_(media)) were made: *[Most Daring](/source/Most_Daring)*[1] and *[Top 20 Countdown: Most Shocking](/source/Top_20_Countdown%3A_Most_Shocking)*.[2]

The program held a [TV-14](/source/TV-14) rating due to extremely violent situations depicted in the videos.

## Synopsis

The show generally features narrated video clips of criminal behavior, police pursuits, robberies, daring rescues, riots, and freak accidents caught on camera. The series mostly featured police and crime videos as a Court TV original, but would occasionally air footage or other events unrelated to crime. When the series was moved to TruTV, the show went all in on showing all kinds of shock footage.[3]
