**Morgan James Ferrier** (born 15 November 1994) is a professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [winger](/source/Forward_(association_football)#Winger) or a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)) for [Incheon United](/source/Incheon_United_FC). Born in England, he represents the [Guyana national team](/source/Guyana_national_football_team).

## Club career

Born in [Plaistow, Newham](/source/Plaistow%2C_Newham),[4] Ferrier played youth football with [Arsenal](/source/Arsenal_F.C.), [Watford](/source/Watford_F.C.) and [Nottingham Forest](/source/Nottingham_Forest_F.C.).[5] In January 2013 he was sent out to [Southern League](/source/Southern_Football_League) Premier Division side [Kettering Town](/source/Kettering_Town_F.C.) on a three-month loan.[6] After leaving Nottingham Forest he briefly went on trial with [Bolton Wanderers](/source/Bolton_Wanderers_F.C.).[7]

He played briefly for [Cray Wanderers](/source/Cray_Wanderers_F.C.) in the [Isthmian League Premier Division](/source/2013-14_Isthmian_League) in 2013–14.[8] He then joined [Crystal Palace](/source/Crystal_Palace_F.C.), and spent time with [Bishop's Stortford](/source/Bishop's_Stortford_F.C.) and [Hemel Hempstead Town](/source/Hemel_Hempstead_Town_F.C.) before signing for [Boreham Wood](/source/Boreham_Wood_F.C.) in August 2016.[9] He was put up for sale in May 2017,[10] and spent time with [Dagenham & Redbridge](/source/Dagenham_%26_Redbridge_F.C.) before returning to Boreham Wood in February 2018.[11] Boreham Wood later accused Ferrier's agent of "bullying".[12]

He signed for [Walsall](/source/Walsall_F.C.) in August 2018.[13]

He moved to [Tranmere Rovers](/source/Tranmere_Rovers_F.C.) on 1 August 2019 for an undisclosed transfer fee.[14][15] In August 2019 he suffered a [knee ligament injury](/source/Knee) and would be on the sidelines for 8 weeks.[16]

On 11 February 2021, Ferrier joined [Israeli Premier League](/source/Israeli_Premier_League) side [Maccabi Petah Tikva](/source/Maccabi_Petah_Tikva_F.C.) for an undisclosed fee.[17][18]

On 24 June 2021 he signed for [Ironi Kiryat Shmona](/source/Hapoel_Ironi_Kiryat_Shmona_F.C.).[19]

In August 2022, Ferrier announced on his Instagram account that he had joined [Thai League 1](/source/Thai_League_1) side [Nakhon Ratchasima](/source/Nakhon_Ratchasima_F.C.).[20]

On 13 August 2023, Ferrier joined [UAE First Division League](/source/UAE_First_Division_League) side [Al Urooba](/source/Al_Urooba_Club).[21]

On 22 January 2024, Ferrier returned to Israel to sign for [Hapoel Acre](/source/Hapoel_Acre_F.C.).[22] Later that day, he scored twice on his debut during a 2–2 draw with [Hapoel Umm al-Fahm](/source/Hapoel_Umm_al-Fahm_F.C.).[23]

In July 2024, Ferrier joined newly-promoted [Cypriot First Division](/source/Cypriot_First_Division) side [Omonia Aradippou](/source/Omonia_Aradippou).[24]

In June 2025, Ferrier joined [Cypriot First Division](/source/Cypriot_First_Division) side [AEL Limassol](/source/AEL_Limassol).[25] On 29 January 2026, he left the club by mutual consent.[26] The following week, he joined [K League 1](/source/K_League_1) side [Incheon United](/source/Incheon_United_FC).[27]

## International career

Ferrier has played for [England C](/source/England_national_football_C_team).[10] In March 2025, he received his first call-up to the [Guyana national team](/source/Guyana_national_football_team) for their [2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup qualification](/source/2025_CONCACAF_Gold_Cup_qualification) matches.[28]
