# Morafenobe

**Morafenobe** is a town and commune (Malagasy: *kaominina*) in western [Madagascar](/source/Madagascar). It belongs to the [district](/source/Districts_of_Madagascar) of [Morafenobe](/source/Morafenobe_District), which is a part of [Melaky Region](/source/Melaky_Region).[1]

Morafenobe is served by a [local airport](/source/Morafenobe_Airport). Primary and junior level secondary education are available in town. The town provides access to hospital services to its citizens.[1]

## Geography

This town is located at the [Manambaho river](/source/Manambaho_river) between [Maintirano](/source/Maintirano) and [Beravina](/source/Beravina).[2]
