# Monte Meidassa

**Monte Meidassa** is a peak in the [Cottian Alps](/source/Cottian_Alps), in western [Piedmont](/source/Piedmont), northern [Italy](/source/Italy). The slightly higher [Monte Granero](/source/Monte_Granero) is located nearby.

## Geography

Administratively it is divided between the [Metropolitan City of Turin](/source/Metropolitan_City_of_Turin) and the [province of Cuneo](/source/Province_of_Cuneo), both in the [Piedmont](/source/Piedmont) region. Included in the *[comuni](/source/Comune)* of [Crissolo](/source/Crissolo) and [Bobbio Pellice](/source/Bobbio_Pellice), not far from the boundary with [France](/source/France), it has an elevation of 3,105 m. It separates the [Valle Pellice](/source/Valle_Pellice) and the [Valle Po](/source/Valle_Po).
