Musical artist

**Tysen Jay Bolding**, known professionally as **Money Man**, is an American rapper from [Atlanta](/source/Atlanta), [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(U.S._state)). His [Kobe Bryant](/source/Death_of_Kobe_Bryant)-inspired 2020 single "[24](/source/24_(Money_Man_song))" peaked at number 49 on the [*Billboard* Hot 100](/source/Billboard_Hot_100) and preceded his eighteenth mixtape, *Epidemic* (2020). His mixtape, *[Red Eye](/source/Red_Eye_(mixtape))* (2023), remains his highest-charting entry on the [*Billboard* 200](/source/Billboard_200).

## Career

After the success of his 2016 songs "Boss Up" and "How It Feel" and his *Black Circle* mixtape trilogy, Bolding signed with [Cash Money Records](/source/Cash_Money_Records) and [Republic Records](/source/Republic_Records) in 2017, and released the *Secret Society*, *Harvest Season* and *Grow God* mixtapes before he bought out his contract in 2018.[2]

In 2019, Money Man released his mixtape *Paranoia*, which peaked at number 36 on the [*Billboard* 200](/source/Billboard_200) album chart, followed by another successful project, the collaborative mixtape *Long Money*, with [Peewee Longway](/source/Peewee_Longway). In 2020, Money Man released *Epidemic* and *State of Emergency*, mixtapes alluding to the [COVID-19 outbreak](/source/COVID-19_pandemic_in_the_United_States), the former containing the single "[24](/source/24_(Money_Man_song))", which later saw a remix being released with [Lil Baby](/source/Lil_Baby).[3]

## Personal life

Bolding supported the [Donald Trump 2024 presidential campaign](/source/Donald_Trump_2024_presidential_campaign).[4]
