The '''Mizque River''' ([Quechua](/source/Quechua_language) ''misk'i'' sweet) is a river in the eastern Andes of [Bolivia](/source/Bolivia) that forms part of the [Amazon basin](/source/Amazon_basin). It forms the border between the [departments](/source/Departments_of_Bolivia) of [Cochabamba](/source/Cochabamba_Department) in the north and [Chuquisaca](/source/Chuquisaca_Department) in the south. To the east the river enters the department of [Santa Cruz](/source/Santa_Cruz_Department) where it is a tributary of [Río Grande](/source/R%C3%ADo_Grande_(Bolivia)).
