# Miyu Hasegawa

**Miyu Hasegawa** (長谷川 美優, born 20 November 2001)[1] is a [Japanese](/source/Japanese_people) [field hockey](/source/Field_hockey) player.[2]

Miyu Hasegawa was born in the [Shimane Prefecture](/source/Shimane_Prefecture).[3]

## Career

### Domestic league

In the Japanese national league, Hasegawa represents the [Tenri University Bears](/source/Tenri_University).[2][3]

### Cherry Blossoms

Hasegawa made her senior international debut in 2023. She represented the team at the [Asian Games](/source/2022_Asian_Games) in [Hangzhou](/source/Hangzhou).[4] She followed this up with an appearance at the [2023 Asian Champions Trophy](/source/2023_Women's_Asian_Champions_Trophy) in [Ranchi](/source/Ranchi), where she won a silver medal.[5][4]

She was named in the squad for the [2024 FIH Olympic Qualifiers](/source/2024_Women's_FIH_Hockey_Olympic_Qualifiers) in Ranchi.[2]
