In mathematical [optimization theory](/source/Optimization_(mathematics)), the **mixed linear complementarity problem**, often abbreviated as **MLCP** or **LMCP**, is a generalization of the [linear complementarity problem](/source/Linear_complementarity_problem) to include [free variables](/source/Free_variables).
