This place is well known for the [revolving restaurant](/source/revolving_restaurant) which is the highest in the world and a [glacier cave](/source/glacier_cave).

Mittelallalin can be reached easily by [cable car](/source/Aerial_lift) from Saas Fee to the Felskinn intermediate station and finally to the top with the [Metro Alpin](/source/Metro_Alpin), the highest funicular in the world.<ref>Felix Gross (2011). ==Ski and mountain-climbing==
The Mittelallalin is also an all year round ski area (between {{convert|1800|and|3600|m}} in winter, [Fee Glacier](/source/Fee_Glacier) in summer). From there the ascent of [Allalinhorn](/source/Allalinhorn) {{convert|4027|m}} is very popular and can be done in just two hours.
