# Miss Valentine

**Miss Valentine** is an international [gymnastics](/source/Gymnastics) tournament in [Tartu](/source/Tartu), [Estonia](/source/Estonia). The event was first held in 1995 and, as of 2023, has been hosted annually. The event hosts [rhythmic gymnastics](/source/Rhythmic_gymnastics) and [aesthetic group gymnastics](/source/Aesthetic_group_gymnastics) competitions. In 2021, because of the [COVID-19 pandemic in Europe](/source/COVID-19_pandemic_in_Europe), Miss Valentine was hosted as an online competition due to the arena where the event traditionally happens being turned into a temporary vaccination center.[1][2]

## Aesthetic group gymnastics

Miss Valentine hosted stages of the [Aesthetic Group Gymnastics World Cup series](/source/Aesthetic_Group_Gymnastics_World_Cup) in [2014](/source/2014_Aesthetic_Group_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series), [2015](/source/2015_Aesthetic_Group_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series) and [2017](/source/2017_Aesthetic_Group_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series).

## Rhythmic gymnastics

In [2013](/source/2013_FIG_Rhythmic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series), for the first time Miss Valentine hosted a [Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup](/source/Rhythmic_Gymnastics_World_Cup) stage. In [2020](/source/List_of_medalists_at_the_Rhythmic_Gymnastics_Grand_Prix_circuit_(2014%E2%80%932023)#2020), Miss Valentine served as the third stage of the [Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix series](/source/Rhythmic_Gymnastics_Grand_Prix). It was the first time that the Nordic and Baltic regions received a Grand Prix stage. In [2022](/source/List_of_medalists_at_the_Rhythmic_Gymnastics_Grand_Prix_circuit_(2014%E2%80%932023)#2022), [2023](/source/List_of_medalists_at_the_Rhythmic_Gymnastics_Grand_Prix_circuit_(2014%E2%80%932023)#2023), [2024](/source/List_of_medalists_at_the_Rhythmic_Gymnastics_Grand_Prix_circuit_(2024%E2%80%932033)#2024), [2025](/source/List_of_medalists_at_the_Rhythmic_Gymnastics_Grand_Prix_circuit_(2024%E2%80%932033)#2025) and [2026](/source/List_of_medalists_at_the_Rhythmic_Gymnastics_Grand_Prix_circuit_(2024%E2%80%932033)#2026) the event was also part of the Grand Prix series.[3][1]
