**Miss Grand Japan 2018** ([Japanese](/source/Japanese_language): **2018 ミス・グランド・ジャパン**) was the 4th edition of the [Miss Grand Japan](/source/Miss_Grand_Japan) pageant, held on July 30, 2018,[1][2][3] at the WOMB Club, [Shibuya](/source/Shibuya), [Tokyo](/source/Tokyo).[4] Fifteen contestants, who applied through an online application launched from December 24, 2017, to February 24, 2018,[5][6] competed for the title.[2][7]

At the end of the event, a 24-year-old model from [Saitama](/source/Saitama_Prefecture), Haruka Oda, was elected the winner, while Rie Kuroki of [Aichi](/source/Aichi_Prefecture) and Kanami Tobita of [Miyagi](/source/Miyagi_Prefecture) were named the runners-up.[1][2] Haruka Oda later took part in the international parent stage, [Miss Grand International 2018](/source/Miss_Grand_International_2018), held in [Myanmar](/source/Myanmar) on October 25, 2018, and was named the fifth runner-up,[8][9][10] making her the first Japanese candidate to reach the top 5 finalists in the said international event.[8][9]

Initially, seventeen contestants qualified for the national final round,[12] but two withdrew, making the final of fifteen contestants.[2][7][13]
