**Miss Global Zimbabwe** is a National [Beauty Pageant](/source/Beauty_Pageant)[1] in [Zimbabwe](/source/Zimbabwe) that was founded in 2012 by Tare Munzara and Ronald Tisauke,[2][3][4] that promotes [beauty](/source/Beauty), [charity](/source/Charity_(practice)) and [tourism](/source/Tourism).[5] The Pageant sends its winner to [Miss Globe International](/source/Miss_Globe_International)[6][7] and Miss Global International. Its 1st runner up goes to [Miss International](/source/Miss_International)[8] Pageant.

## History

The first officially Miss Global Zimbabwe in 2012 was Mutsa Mutare[9] who represented [Zimbabwe](/source/Zimbabwe) at the Miss Global International 2012 in [Jamaica](/source/Jamaica).[10] Before her there were many Zimbabwean models who participated to Miss Global International in which the first Miss Global International title winner in 2006 was Ropa Garise[11] and the second to win the international pageant in 2007 was [Miss Zimbabwe](/source/Miss_Zimbabwe) 2007, [Cynthia Muvirimi](/source/Cynthia_Muvirimi).[12]

The current title holder for Miss Global Zimbabwe 2013-2014 is Nyasha Mutsauri[13] becoming the official representative of her [country](/source/Zimbabwe) to [Miss Global International](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Miss_Global_International&action=edit&redlink=1)[14] [Miss Globe International](/source/Miss_Globe_International).[15] Nyasha Mutsauri recently was the host for the international [pageant](/source/Beauty_pageant) [Miss Heritage](/source/Miss_Heritage) 2013 Pageant which was staged in [Harare](/source/Harare) [Zimbabwe](/source/Zimbabwe). She also has done a lot of charity work. Nyasha Mutsauri could not travel to Miss Global International 2013 which was held in Jamaica due to family reasons. However her Director [Tare Munzara](/source/Tare_Munzara) managed to make a plan to ensure that she represents Zimbabwe at another international Pageant. She is the official representative for Zimbabwe for Miss Globe international 2014.[16][17]
