**Mirror Lake** is a small, seasonal [lake](/source/Lake) located on [Tenaya Creek](/source/Tenaya_Creek) in [Yosemite National Park](/source/Yosemite_National_Park).[2] Situated in [Tenaya Canyon](/source/Tenaya_Canyon) directly between [North Dome](/source/North_Dome) and [Half Dome](/source/Half_Dome), it is the last remnant of a large glacial lake that once filled most of Yosemite Valley at the end of the last Ice Age, and is close to disappearing due to [sediment](/source/Sediment) accumulation.
