**Miodrag "Mijo" Kadija** (born 27 September 1962) is a Montenegrin [basketball](/source/Basketball) [coach](/source/Coach_(basketball)) of [Spars Ilidža](/source/OKK_Spars) of the [Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina](/source/Basketball_Championship_of_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina) and the [ABA League Second Division](/source/ABA_League_Second_Division).

## Coaching career

Kadija coached [Lovćen Cetinje](/source/KK_Lov%C4%87en), [Budućnost](/source/KK_Budu%C4%87nost),[1] [Atlas](/source/KK_Atlas), [Avala Ada](/source/KK_Mega_Basket),[2] [Sloga](/source/KK_Sloga),[3] [Igokea](/source/KK_Igokea),[4] [Strumica](/source/KK_Strumica), [Feni Industries](/source/KK_Feni_Industries),[5] [Teodo Tivat](/source/KK_Teodo_Tivat).[6]

On 23 August 2018, Kadija became a head coach for the Montenegrin team Lovćen 1947 for the third time.[7] He left after the 2018–19 season ended.[8]

On 2 January 2021, Bosnian team [Spars](/source/OKK_Spars) hired Kadija as their new head coach.[9][10][11][12] He left Spars after the 2020–21 season ended.[13] On 31 December 2021, he re-signed with Spars.[14][15]

## National teams coaching career

Kadija was the head coach of the [Serbia & Montenegro U16 national team](/source/Serbia_men's_national_under-16_basketball_team) that won the gold medal at the [2003 European Championship for Cadets](/source/2003_FIBA_Europe_Under-16_Championship) in [Madrid](/source/Madrid), Spain. He also coached [National under-18 team](/source/Serbia_men's_national_under-18_basketball_team) at the [2004 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship](/source/2004_FIBA_Europe_Under-18_Championship) in Spain.[5]

Kadija was the head coach of the Montenegro U18 national team.
