**Beniamino** "**Mino**" **Reitano** (7 December 1944 – 27 January 2009) was an Italian singer, songwriter and actor.

Reitano was born in [Fiumara](/source/Fiumara), a small village in [Calabria](/source/Calabria). His father, an employee at the local railway station, was very passionate about music, and encouraged all his sons to learn to play an instrument.
