# Mikhail Mikhin

**Mikhail Ivanovich Mikhin** (1923-2007) was a Soviet [MiG-15](/source/MiG-15) pilot who became a [flying ace](/source/Flying_ace) during the [Korean War](/source/Korean_War), credited with nine[1] to twelve[2] victories. He was awarded the title [Hero of the Soviet Union](/source/Hero_of_the_Soviet_Union).[3]
