Although a U.S. citizen by birth, Lalor spent his youth in [Fort Erie](/source/Fort_Erie%2C_Ontario), [Ontario](/source/Ontario). Lalor played in the [NHL](/source/National_Hockey_League) with the [Montreal Canadiens](/source/Montreal_Canadiens), [St. Louis Blues](/source/St._Louis_Blues), [Washington Capitals](/source/Washington_Capitals), [Winnipeg Jets](/source/Winnipeg_Jets_(1972%E2%80%9396)), [San Jose Sharks](/source/San_Jose_Sharks) and [Dallas Stars](/source/Dallas_Stars). He won the [Calder Cup](/source/Calder_Cup) in 1985 with Sherbrooke, and a [Stanley Cup](/source/Stanley_Cup) with the 1986 Canadiens. He currently owns a gym called Teammates Fitness in [Wellesley, Massachusetts](/source/Wellesley%2C_Massachusetts).
