He also won a silver medal in the mixed bobsleigh-skeleton team event at the [2007 FIBT World Championships](/source/FIBT_World_Championships_2007) in [St. Moritz](/source/St._Moritz).<ref name=sr />

Kohn retired from competition after the [2010 Winter Olympics](/source/2010_Winter_Olympics). He was appointed as an assistant coach by the [United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation](/source/United_States_Bobsled_and_Skeleton_Federation) in 2011.<ref name=coach />

Kohn is also an Infantry Captain in the [United States Army](/source/United_States_Army). A native of [Columbia, South Carolina](/source/Columbia%2C_South_Carolina), he now lives in [Myrtle Beach, South Carolina](/source/Myrtle_Beach%2C_South_Carolina) with his wife Jessica, and two sons, Oliver and max kohn.
