# Mike Colletta

**Michael J. Colletta, Sr.** (September 1, 1924[1] - January 24, 2007) was a businessman and Republican politician in the U.S. state of Alaska.[2][3][4]

Colletta served one term in the [Alaska House of Representatives](/source/Alaska_House_of_Representatives), during the 7th State Legislature (1971-1972), representing the 8th district from Anchorage.[3] He served two terms in the [Alaska Senate](/source/Alaska_Senate), from 1975 to 1982,[3] culminating with being the Republican nominee for [lieutenant governor](/source/List_of_lieutenant_governors_of_Alaska), running alongside [Tom Fink](/source/Tom_Fink) in the [1982 election](/source/Alaska_gubernatorial_election,_1982).[5]
