**Michael Caron** is an American [television director](/source/Television_director) and owner of production company Mike Caron Productions.[2]

## Career

Caron began his career as an actor on the [CBS](/source/CBS) television show *[Young and the Restless](/source/Young_and_the_Restless)* from 1995 to 1996. Caron was then asked to become a stage manager on *[Passions](/source/Passions)*, despite having no background as a stage manager. After receiving more work on soap operas, he became associate director on Nickelodeon’s *[Drake & Josh](/source/Drake_%26_Josh)*.[3] He later went on to continue working with [Schneider's Bakery](/source/Schneider's_Bakery) on *[Zoey 101](/source/Zoey_101)*, *[iCarly](/source/ICarly)*, *[Victorious](/source/Victorious)*, and *[Sam & Cat](/source/Sam_%26_Cat)*.

While working on *[Henry Danger](/source/Henry_Danger)*[4] and *[Game Shakers](/source/Game_Shakers)* he started directing episodes of the shows. He later went on to direct *[Danger Force](/source/Danger_Force)*.[5] In addition, Caron has directed a short film The Pick-Up. He later went on to be an executive producer for the live action series *[The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder](/source/The_Fairly_OddParents%3A_Fairly_Odder)* based on the animated series *[The Fairly OddParents](/source/The_Fairly_OddParents)*.[6]
