Not to be confused with the U.S. precious metal company Midas Resources, owned by Ted Anderson.

The company is based in Central African Republic,[1] with headquarters in [Bangui](/source/Bangui).[2]

## History

The company operates the [Ndassima](/source/Ndassima) mine in Central African Republic.[3]

The United States imposed sanctions against Midas Ressources on June 27, 2023, in the aftermath of the [Wagner Group rebellion](/source/Wagner_Group_rebellion).[5] Sanctions against the Wagner Group affiliated [Diamville](/source/Diamville) were imposed at the same time.[6]
