The flattened shell is rotelliform{{typo help inline|reason=similar to rostelliform|date=November 2019}}, resembling a species from the genus [Gaza](/source/Gaza_(gastropod)) without the reflected [lip](/source/Lip_(gastropod)) or umbilical callus. The shell is brilliantly nacreous when fresh.
