## Oversight

The Microbicides Development Programme is funded by the [Department for International Development](/source/Department_for_International_Development) through the [Medical Research Council](/source/Medical_Research_Council_(UK)). The organisation is coordinated MRC Clinical Trials Unit and the [Imperial College London](/source/Imperial_College_London) at [St Mary's Hospital](/source/St_Mary's_Hospital,_London).[2] The organisation was founded on 25 January 2006.[3]

## PRO 2000
