**Mick Lowry** (born 8 October 1960) is an Irish former [Gaelic footballer](/source/Gaelic_football) whose [league](/source/National_Football_League_(Ireland)) and [championship](/source/All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship) career with the [Offaly senior county team](/source/Offaly_county_football_team) spanned eleven seasons from 1980 to 1991.

Lowry attended St Joseph & St Saran's Secondary School in [Ferbane](/source/Ferbane).[1]

He made his senior debut for Offaly during the [1980–81 league](/source/1980%E2%80%9381_National_Football_League_(Ireland)). Over the course of the next eleven seasons, he won many medals with his county. Lowry won an [All-Ireland SFC](/source/All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship) title in 1982. Lowry also won two [Leinster SFC](/source/Leinster_Senior_Football_Championship) medals. He played his last game for Offaly in July 1991.[citation needed]

Lowry's brothers, [Seán](/source/Se%C3%A1n_Lowry) and [Brendan](/source/Brendan_Lowry), also won All-Ireland SFC medals with Offaly in 1982. His nephew, [Shane](/source/Shane_Lowry), is a professional golfer.[2]
