Pacek has been nominated for three [Genie Awards](/source/Genie_Awards) for film editing.[1][*[failed verification](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability)*] He won two Genie Awards for his work on [Bruce McDonald](/source/Bruce_McDonald_(director))'s *Dance Me Outside* (1994).
