**Michael David Lisch** (born August 30, 1990) is an American [soccer](/source/Association_football) player.

## Career

### College

Lisch played [college soccer](/source/College_soccer_in_the_United_States) at [Wake Forest University](/source/Wake_Forest_University) between 2009 and 2012.[1]

While at Wake Forest, Lisch also spent time playing for [USL PDL](/source/USL_PDL) club [Austin Aztex](/source/Austin_Aztex).

After graduating in 2012, he transferred to the [University of New Mexico](/source/University_of_New_Mexico) where he played his final college season under coach Jeremy Fishbein.[2]

Lisch led the 7th ranked Lobos to the [2013 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship](/source/2013_NCAA_Division_I_Men's_Soccer_Championship) in [Chester, Pennsylvania](/source/Chester,_Pennsylvania) during his lone season at New Mexico.

### Professional

Lisch was selected by [Houston Dynamo](/source/Houston_Dynamo) with the 54th overall pick of the [2014 MLS SuperDraft](/source/2014_MLS_SuperDraft).[3]

Lisch made his professional debut on February 10, 2014, in a preseason friendly against [FC Tucson](/source/FC_Tucson).[4]
