# Michael Essany

**Michael Essany** (born October 22, 1982, in [Valparaiso, Indiana](/source/Valparaiso,_Indiana)) is an American comedian and talk show host.

Essany hosted *[The Michael Essany Show](/source/The_Michael_Essany_Show)* on local, national and international television for seven years. He has also written a column for *[The Times of Northwest Indiana](/source/The_Times_of_Northwest_Indiana)*, published multiple books, and twice run for public office.[1] He is a 2005 graduate of [Valparaiso University](/source/Valparaiso_University).[2]

Essany hosted three episodes of *[The Goodnight Show with Michael Essany](/source/The_Goodnight_Show_with_Michael_Essany)* in August 2017.[3]
