***Miacora perplexa*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) in the family [Cossidae](/source/Cossidae). It is found in [North America](/source/North_America), where it has been recorded from [Colorado](/source/Colorado) and western [Texas](/source/Texas) to [California](/source/California) and [Oregon](/source/Oregon).[1] The habitat consists of montane areas.

The length of the forewings is 17–21 mm for males and 20–24 mm for females. Adults have been recorded on wing from May to September.[2]
