The discography of [Method Man](/source/Method_Man), an American rapper, consists of seven [studio albums](/source/Studio_album) (including one collaborative album) and 34 [singles](/source/Single_(music)) (including 16 as a featured artist). Method Man embarked on his music career in 1992, as a member of [East Coast hip hop](/source/East_Coast_hip_hop) group [Wu-Tang Clan](/source/Wu-Tang_Clan). After the Wu-Tang Clan released their highly acclaimed debut album *[Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)](/source/Enter_the_Wu-Tang_(36_Chambers))* (1993), Method Man would be the first member to release his solo debut album. In November 1994, he released *[Tical](/source/Tical_(album))*, under [Def Jam Recordings](/source/Def_Jam_Recordings). His debut album *Tical*, features his biggest [hit single](/source/Hit_single) to date, "[I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By](/source/I'll_Be_There_for_You%2FYou're_All_I_Need_to_Get_By)", which features American R&B singer [Mary J. Blige](/source/Mary_J._Blige) and peaked at number three on the US [*Billboard* Hot 100](/source/Billboard_Hot_100). Method Man would then go on to collaborate with fellow East Coast rapper [Redman](/source/Redman_(rapper)), and subsequently form [a duo](/source/Method_Man_%26_Redman) together.
