***Merismodes*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of [fungi](/source/Fungus) in the [Cyphellopsidaceae](/source/Cyphellopsidaceae) family.[1] It was previously included in the [Niaceae](/source/Niaceae) family.[1] The genus has a widespread distribution and contains 20 species.[2]
