'''Merima Denboba''' (born 21 August 1974 in [Arsi](/source/Arsi_Zone)) is an Ethiopian former [long-distance runner](/source/long-distance_runner), who specialized in the [5000 metres](/source/5000_metres) and [cross-country running](/source/cross-country_running).

Denboba won the 2003 [Oeiras International Cross Country](/source/Oeiras_International_Cross_Country), beating two-time champion [Leah Malot](/source/Leah_Malot) in the process.<ref>Costas, Paulo (16 November 2003).
