**Melanthius** ([Ancient Greek](/source/Ancient_Greek_language): Μελάνθιος) was an [ancient Greek](/source/Greece) [painter](/source/Painting) of the 4th century BC. He belonged to the school of [Sicyon](/source/Sicyon), which was noted for fine drawing.
